Open Weekend

Don’t forget, next weekend is our Open Weekend, our first social of the Summer.  It’s been a long time coming.

If you wish to visit the club for free, please register your interest by clicking here. Please do not turn up unannounced.

We will also have our first BBQ of the season, and for those of you staying overnight, why not benefit from Lavinda’s HSC Big Breakfast on the Sunday morning. The BBQ and breakfast are £10 each.

Open Weekend

We have had to move our Open Weekend to ensure that we would not be subject to any more covid restrictions.

We have therefore moved it to the weekend of 3rd and 4th of July. Put it in your diaries now, so you can visit the club FREE of charge that weekend. We will also be having our usual BBQ and other entertainment.

Let’s just hope the weather plays ball too.

Covid Government restrictions to be eased

Great news!! We can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. From 29th March 2021, we should hopefully be able to open up the club again to members.

Haslemere Sun Club is classed as “Outdoor Sport and Leisure Facilities”, which under the government’s current roadmap means we can start to reopen. We will still need to maintain the wearing of masks in enclosed spaces for now, and to maintain the rule of 6 if in close proximity to others, but this is great news, as we will start to be able to do some much needed tasks at the club.

Spring has sprung?

Has spring sprung? Well it looks like it’s beginning to at Sunnyacres. Crocuses galore are starting to poke their heads out of the ground. Let’s hope we’ll all soon be able to enjoy it when Covid restrictions are relaxed.

Change of Date for AGM and Skittles night

Due to the continued Covid restrictions it has been decided to postpone the clubs AGM to June and the skittles night to June too.

It was felt by the committee that Covid restrictions would not be eased by March to enable these to continue. To see the revised dates and when everything else is happening at the club visit the following page:
